Personal Achievements

I have received numerous awards through Girl Scouting including my Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards. In addition to Girl Scouting, I have been awarded with four Presidential Volunteer Service Awards for hundreds of hours of community service. But the awards I am the most proud of are the Medal of Honor from Girl Scouts and the Red Cross Youth Good Samaritan Award for saving my grandmother's life. In June of 2014, I was biking through the woods near my house with my grandmother when she hit a pothole and her bike flipped. I directed the ambulance to our location while she was unconscious and I kept her steady on the ground and held her badly injured elbow together with a bandanna. She suffered a severe concussion, broken ribs, and a broken elbow. In the end, she made a full recovery and I was recommend for the Medal of Honor in Girl Scouts, only the second girl to ever receive this award in Centre County. I also received the Red Cross Youth Good Samaritan award relating to this event and was humbled to be in the company of so many other local heroes.
