ASME ISHOW Longitudinal Study on Social Return on Investment

ASME ISHOW, an accelerator of hardware-led social innovation, has been supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystems in India, Kenya, and the United States since 2015. This research project aims to support ISHOW’s internal data collection/Social Return on Investment (SROI) initiatives for past applicants, finalists, and winners. The Fellow will contribute to a longitudinal study to collect and analyze data from surveys and interviews on ISHOW impact on early stage startups and innovation ecosystems at large to identify gaps/needs and inform ISHOW strategy over the short/mid term. The Fellow will also conduct research on hardware startup failure rates.
