BamCore has developed a systematic process to transform architectural and structural design models into fabrication-ready kit of parts. The process is broken down into a series of manual steps that use a variety of software and custom tools. The goal of this project is to automate and streamline Bamcore’s current processes. The Fellow will support in automating the placement of sub components in an optimal configuration for machine cutting and eventual generative design integration using Fusion360. Additional work may include developing a more efficient way to automatically place nail patterns from the current in-house Revit plugin that is being used.
