The goal of this project is to cost engineer the Okra Mesh Grid system and achieve lower cost per connection through efficient material selection and manufacturing. The Fellow will work with stakeholders to understand requirements and constraints, conduct engineering design, source materials for prototyping and testing, and compile documentation for assembly, manufacturing, and sourcing. This work will be done for one of two major components dependent on the Fellow expertise - distribution poles or pre-wired electronics enclosures.
